Our Advertising/Public Relations major prepares students for careers in business, communications, or mass media-related fields. Students learn how to tell a story, while also working with clients as they build campaigns and combine classroom instruction with hands-on opportunities.

Biochemistry is the study of chemical reactions in living organisms. The Applied Biochemistry Major at Marietta College prepares students for Physician Assistant Studies, Pharmacy school and teaching.

Chemistry, the central science, is the study of matter, its properties, and reactivity. The Applied Chemistry Major at Marietta College prepares students for careers outside traditional chemical research, such as teaching, business, and science writing.

Applied Physics is the study of the basic laws of nature and their application to modern technologies. Applied Physics provides both broad and focused study in physics while relating this study to applications used in technology-based industries.
