Picture a world without color, without design, without art.
Imagine living in an entirely white home or working in an office painted totally black. Imagine no Mona Lisa, Sistine Chapel, or the Taj Mahal. What would looking at a completely black-and-white magazine with no photographs or page layouts be like? Picture each morning eating cereal from a plain cardboard box. Imagine no animation, no app icons, no websites, and no sleek iPads, or smartphones! Now ask yourself: how important are art and design?
If you want to innovate, create, and make your mark in our intensely visual world, the Art Department at Marietta College is the place for you.
