While most of our graduates finish their education in the spring, Marietta College is pleased to recognize those who finish their requirements in the fall. The Fall Graduation Celebration is a more modest recognition of those students who complete mid-year, but no less important. Traditional academic regalia is required for all participating graduates.
Fall graduates who chose to participate in Spring Commencement prior to completion are ineligible to participate in the fall ceremony.

Graduation Celebration

December 7, 2024, at 1:00 p.m.
McDonough Center for Business & Leadership - Alma McDonough Auditorium

The College is preparing for an in-person celebration to be held in the McDonough Auditorium on December 17, 2024. Tickets are required, as seating is limited. The ceremony is anticipated to last just under one hour.

Regalia is required for participating graduates, who should plan to arrive for check-in between 12:15 and 12:45.

Bruce Heflin Photography will be taking cap and gown photographs for purchase in the Betty Cleland room both before and after the ceremony as well candid photos throughout the ceremony, including a photo of each graduate as they receive their diploma. Graduates will be receiving a QR code prior to the ceremony that will allow them to register up to 14 cell phone numbers and/or email addresses where candid images will be sent as early as the day of the ceremony. This is a great way to include friends and family who cannot attend. No purchase is required to participate in sharing of candid photos.
