As part of the Department of Communication, the Journalism and Broadcasting major provides students with the proper knowledge and skills to be successful in this demanding industry.

Independent and bold-thinking students take charge of their futures by pursuing an undergraduate degree in Strategic Communication. Students focus their studies by selecting one of two tracks: Organizational Communication & Public Relations or Advertising & Public Relations.

Our Advertising/Public Relations major prepares students for careers in business, communications, or mass media-related fields. Students learn how to tell a story, while also working with clients as they build campaigns and combine classroom instruction with hands-on opportunities.
