Marietta College’s 2020-21 Student Government Association leadership team all hails from Ohio, including local resident Katie Kitchen ’21 (Marietta, Ohio) who was elected Student Body President.
Kitchen replaces Rachel Ewing ’20 (Stockton, California) and she said the opportunity to continue working for the College’s students is an honor.
“I am proud to have been part of the work SGA has done this year, especially the leadership and communication with students during the move to virtual learning, and I look forward to using this momentum to allow SGA to be a more visible and accessible channel between students and administration in the coming year,” Kitchen said. “The incoming executive board and group of representatives is a mixture of experience and a fresh outlook, which I believe will allow us to accomplish great things for the student body.”
Joining Kitchen on the executive team are Vice President Taiylor Williamson ’22 (New Concord, Ohio), Treasurer Breck Baker ’21 (Nashport, Ohio), Secretary Abbie Leslie ’22 (Lancaster, Ohio) and Parliamentarian Alexander Lersch (Tiffin, Ohio).
The SGA Class Representatives for 2020-21 are:
