Marietta College’s student body is currently voting for the 2022 Homecoming queen and king and this year there are plenty of options with 18 candidates — 11 queen nominees and seven king nominees.
Students can vote online from 8:00 a.m., Thursday, October 13th, through 5:00 p.m., Friday, October 14th, at https://forms.office.com/r/Sjk5cMqLsv.
The winners will be announced at Don Drumm Stadium during halftime of the Pioneers’ football game against Wilmington College on Saturday, October 15th. Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. in the Ohio Athletic Conference game. The Pioneers are 2-3 overall and 1-3 in the OAC.
This year’s Queen candidates are:
- Taylor Clemons (Athens, Ohio) is majoring in Strategic Communication, Health Communication, and Marketing and is representing the cheer team.
- Samantha Corbett (Coshocton, Ohio) is majoring in Music Education and is representing the Chi Omega sorority.
- Abby Hartshorn (Kenton, Ohio) is majoring in Psychology and is representing the tennis team.
- Tia Jarvis (Marietta, Ohio) is majoring in Psychology and is representing the resident assistants of Marietta College.
- Marissa Jerina (Warren, Ohio) is majoring in Strategic Communication and is representing the dance team.
- Hannah McKain (Parkersburg, West Virginia) is majoring in Marketing and is representing the Office of Diversity and Inclusion.
- Maria Perez-Ramirez (Tiffin, Ohio) is majoring in Organizational Communication & Public Relations and is representing the Sigma Kappa sorority.
- Casey Roeder (Milford, Ohio) is majoring in Psychology and International Leadership Studies, and is representing women’s lacrosse.
- Haley Ross (Aurora, Ohio) is majoring in Math and Adolescent to Young Adult Education and is representing the women’s basketball team.
- Elizabeth Stern (Wheeling, West Virginia) is majoring in English and Political Science and is representing the Alpha Xi Delta sorority.
- Taylor Watts (West Jefferson, Ohio) is majoring in Management and Communications and is representing the softball team.
This year’s King candidates are:
- Bryce Agnew (Brook Park, Ohio) is majoring in Sport Management and is representing the football team.
- Chasten Coleman (Yadkinville, North Carolina) is majoring in Strategic Communication and is representing The National Society of Leadership and Success.
- Parker Dinan (Nashport, Ohio) is majoring in Biochemistry and is representing the Office of Community Living.
- Matthew Fouty (Bellaire, Ohio) is majoring in Psychology and is representing the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity.
- Alexander Lersch (Tiffin, Ohio) is majoring in History and Political Science and is representing the Alpha Sigma Phi fraternity.
- Luke Watt (St. Clairsville, Ohio) is majoring in Petroleum Engineering and is representing the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
- Lane Wilson (Wooster, Ohio) is majoring in Middle Childhood Education/Special Education Dual Prep and is representing the cross country and track teams.
