Marietta College’s Haille Rogers ’25 was able to spend two weeks this summer learning and exploring as a student in the Entrepreneurial Mindshift course at Babson College.
“I really enjoyed the Babson program. It was very interesting how many international students were there, so you got a global view of entrepreneurship,” she said.
She also teamed up with another program participant in Wellesley, Massachusetts, which made the experience even more memorable.
“My favorite part of the program is when we got to build our own business with a teammate and had to do the research to make it the most successful and have the best revenue out of all the groups,” Rogers said. “My group placed third, which was nice because it showed that I was able to use my knowledge from the program and be successful.”
Rogers is majoring in Sports Medicine, minoring in Coaching, and pursuing two certificates in Health Communication and Entrepreneurship at Marietta.
This opportunity was made possible by Jamie Kendrioski ’01, MA’04, who established a scholarship that helps students pay for the workshop, which had a $495 fee this past summer. Kendrioski, who previously worked at Marietta, is the Director of Babson Collaborative and Babson Build.
