The Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development at Marietta College has announced the recipients of its Career Development Summer Experiential Education Grants. These highly competitive grants are designed to empower students to pursue pivotal professional development opportunities over the summer months.
The grants, made possible through the generosity of Marietta College's alumni and friends during the annual Day of Giving, will facilitate invaluable hands-on learning experiences through internships, research projects, studying abroad, and conference presentations.
"We're thrilled to support these exceptional students as they engage in enriching summer endeavors," said Dr. Jacqueline Khorassani, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development. "From graphic design to finance, these experiences will provide unparalleled career preparation and open doors to their future success."
The 2024 Career Development Summer Experiential Education Grant recipients are:
- Kaitlyn Gough '25 (Canal Winchester, Ohio), Graphic Design: $1,405 for an internship with the Catholic Diocese of Columbus.
- Brett Johnson '25 (Bolivar, Ohio), Management: $700 for an internship with Hendrickson in North Canton, Ohio.
- Bryce Moyers '26 (Ashland, Ohio), Finance: $1,405 for an internship with Royse Partners in Houston, Texas.
- Colin Walters '25 (Hilliard, Ohio), Physics and Mathematics: $1,405 for the Research Experience for Undergraduates program at The Ohio State University.
