Art Capstone December 2024

Marietta College Art Department is proud to present the “Art and Design Capstone Exhibition,” a show featuring the work of the graduating seniors in the Art Department. The exhibition is located in the Atrium Gallery, on the third floor of the Hermann Fine Arts Center on the corner of Butler and Fourth Streets on the Marietta College campus. The show will be on display January 16 through March 3, 2025, with an artist reception on Friday, January 24 from 4:00-5:30 p.m.


Based on the student’s area of study and personal interest, each of the nine featured artists and designers selected their project concepts and media. Included in the exhibition: Ryan Boggs ’25 (Jackson, Ohio) created Tarot cards titled Dark Nouveau; Kaitlyn Gough ’24 (Canal Winchester, Ohio) created a comprehensive educational brand and product line called Holy Helpers; Mackenzie Harshbarger ’25 (Pullman, West Virginia) created Grow in Love Wedding Kits; Brianna Lipari ’25 (Belpre, Ohio) created crochet kits called Loops; Keshaun Madlock ’25 (Cleveland, Ohio) created a series of photographs called Time and Motion; Liz Roderick ’25 (New Matamoras, Ohio) created an app called Chums; Adam Sarhan ’25 (Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey) created a series of drawings called the Vital Role of the Artisan and Their Craft; Emory Spitler ’25 (Lebanon, Ohio) created a company with an app and hydration drink called Small Wins; and Claire Strickland ’25 (Shadyside, Ohio) created a clothing brand called Strong Her.


The Atrium Gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and observes all Marietta College holidays and breaks. All exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.
