Actress and writer Bianca Sams will be at Marietta College for "A Discussion of Diversity and Inclusion in an age of #MeToo," at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 18th, in the Andrews Hall Great Room.
“After almost a year of unprecedented media attention on the topic of sexual assault and harassment, this dialogue will serve as a meaningful engagement of the movement and its impact on the creative arts and campus community,” said Dr. Nkenge Friday, Associate Dean of Students and Director of Diversity and Inclusion. “This discussion joins the global conversation of equality while providing opportunities for intersectional education.”
Sams has been featured in roles that include the films RENT and Serenity. She has worked as a staff writer on TV shows that include Training Day and The Originals.
Dinner will be served starting at 5:45 p.m. This event is presented by the Office of Diversity and Inclusion and the Theatre Department, while being sponsored by the Office of Academic Affairs.
