Tisha Smith ’17 grew up in Zanesville, Ohio, but has been fortunate to have lived all over the world, including two years in Seoul, South Korea. She is an Ohio Army National Guard veteran and is very proud of her service to her country and to the state of Ohio. Tisha, who joined the Records Office in 2016, was appointed to her current position as Assistant Registrar in 2019. Tisha continues to work toward a Bachelor of Arts from Marietta College and plans on completing it in 2021. As a non-traditional student, she can engage with the student body in the classroom as a peer. She has the advantage of having a student perspective, as well as, a staff perspective. In her time away from campus, Tisha enjoys camping, reading, and spending time with her four children, the oldest of whom is also a member of The Long Blue Line.
