Biography

Jennifer Childers, MSPAS, PA-C, is an associate professor and Director of Clinical Education in the Physician Assistant Studies graduate program. She began clinical practice in 1999, specializing in pain management and neurosurgery before becoming involved with Physician Assistant education as an Assistant Professor for the Alderson Broaddus College Physician Assistant Program in 2004. She then joined the Marietta College Physician Assistant Program in 2008, where she served as faculty prior to joining the West Liberty University PA faculty in 2014. Past educational roles include clinical coordinator and faculty instructor.  Childers has traveled to Cambodia and Tanzania on medical mission trips, serving as a medical provider. Her part-time clinical roles while employed in education have included occupational medicine, pre-admission testing, women’s health and, most recently, behavioral health, specializing in interventional psychiatry.
