Di has been in the Marietta area since 1985. She has a Master of Music degree in Voice Performance from Bowling Green State University (1980) and a Bachelor of Music Education from The Ohio State University (1976). She also obtained Talented and Gifted certification from Ohio University (1990). Di taught public school music for six years before moving on to the college level. She has performed regionally in opera, oratorio, and recital. Now retired, Di had a private voice studio for 42 years. She was adjunct faculty at Marietta college, WVU-Parkersburg, and Ohio Valley University. She was a member of the National Association of Teachers of Singing and American Choral Directors Association. She is married to Dr. Greg Krivchenia, an orthopedic surgeon. They have three children Grisha, Maya, and Nicholas. The children are all professional musicians — pianist composer, singer, and drummer, respectively.
