Biography
Cole is an AmeriCorps Member currently serving as a Community Health Worker through Appalachia HealthCorps. In this role Cole is running mental health awareness and outreach campaigns, researching health related programs and services for students, and coordinating with campus departments and staff on topics related to mental health. Cole is also an OCL Pro-Staff member. Cole is an alumnus of Marietta College where he double majored in Journalism and Political Science and minored in Leadership Studies before graduating in December of 2022. Cole recently graduated from the University of Illinois Springfield with a MA in Public Affairs Reporting and interned at NPR Illinois and Capitol News Illinois in 2024.
