Brittany Peppel, a 2012 graduate of Marietta College's Physician Assistant Studies Program, is the Physician Assistant at the Dr. J. Michael Harding Center for Health and Wellness at Marietta College.
Right out of school she started her career in General Surgery at Marietta Memorial Hospital and worked solely with Dr. Allen McElroy. In this setting, her job description allowed her to first assist in the operating room, see patients in the office to set up outpatient procedures and surgeries, as well as take call and perform duties for inpatient services. About five years later, she decided to start work in the emergency department at Jackson General Hospital in Ripley, West Virginia, and worked there for a little less than two years. She then transitioned to working at Physician’s Care Express Urgent Care in Marietta and Belpre, Ohio.
Throughout her career, Brittany has always been enthusiastic about providing compassionate and quality care to her patients, and is an advocate for lifelong learning.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, long distance running, and spending time with her husband, friends and family. She also enjoys being apart of her church community at the Journey Church in Marietta, Ohio.
