Branden Chambers ’11 serves as the Director of Annual Giving at Marietta College, where he leads strategic fundraising initiatives to support the college’s mission and enhance the student experience. With a focus on engaging alumni, parents, and the wider community, Branden oversees campaigns and programs that generate critical annual support for the institution. His experience combines data-driven insights with a passion for meaningful connections, enhancing donor engagement and loyalty. Branden is committed to fostering a culture of giving that impacts students, faculty, and the broader Marietta College community.

Branden received his Master’s in Health Communication from East Carolina University in 2013, where he served as an instructor for both interpersonal and business communication courses during his graduate coursework and thesis research.

Branden also brings extensive expertise to his role as an Adjunct Faculty member at Marietta College specializing in health communication, interpersonal dynamics, and organizational communication. With a strong academic foundation and practical experience, Branden is passionate about empowering students to communicate effectively in various professional and personal settings. His teaching philosophy emphasizes a student-centered approach, integrating real-world applications with theory to develop critical communication skills. Branden is committed to fostering an inclusive learning environment that encourages diverse perspectives and critical thinking. His research interests focused on the intersection of communication practices and health efficacy, aiming to improve relational and organizational outcomes through effective communication strategies.

Branden is an innovator with a proven track record in driving growth and transformative change across various industries. Known for his strategic thinking and hands-on approach, Branden combines industry knowledge with a passion for developing impactful solutions that cater to evolving market demands. He holds an extensive background in communication, which has equipped him with a unique skill set that spans operational excellence, project management, and team leadership.

Prior to returning to his alma mater in 2024, he served as a Veterinary Practice Manager developing healthcare clinical operations, team leadership, and client relations. With a passion for enhancing the veterinary care experience, Branden effectively oversaw daily practice management, ensuring high standards of patient care and clinic efficiency.

Branden also previously served in roles at Marietta College as a Student Career Services Specialist, and the Assistant Director of Community Living. With extensive experience in higher education, Branden is dedicated to supporting student success both academically and professionally. In his role as a Student Career Services Specialist, Branden provided one-on-one career counseling and connecting students with job and internship opportunities that align with their career goals. As an Assistant Director of Community Living, Branden oversaw residential life programming, focusing on creating an inclusive and supportive environment for students to thrive. His commitment to fostering student growth and development is evident across all aspects of his work.

As proud Marietta College graduates Branden and his spouse, Ashley (Hart) Chambers’11, live close to campus in Marietta with their child Arlo. Outside of work, they enjoy family time, hiking, and trips to Columbus Zoo and Aquarium.
