The chemistry major requires a total of 41 credit hours in chemistry. Of these 41 hours, 35 come from required courses.

Note: Students planning to attend graudate school in biochemistry are advised to take one semester of physical chemistry (Chem 331), an additional semester of calculus (Math 224), and General Physics (Phys 221 and 222) instead of College Physics (Phys 211, 212).
