Sport Management Experience Highlights
- Savannah Bananas: spent nearly one week working with the staff and helping them launch their 2022 world tour
- Boca Raton Bowl and Myrtle Beach Bowl: Both ESPN-owned college football bowl games, we work with all aspects of the game and the events leading up to the game, including facility management, marketing, community relations, tickets, etc.
- Capital One Orange Bowl: We had four students intern at the game this past year, which was a semi-final playoff game between Georgia and Michigan. The four students spent four weeks in Miami working with the staff on community events, sponsorships, and operations.
2022 Internship Highlights
- Two students interned with the Savannah Bananas
- Two students interned with the Akron Rubber Ducks
- One student moved to North Dakota and interned with the Bismark Larks
- One student interned with USA Softball and worked at the NCAA College World Series of Softball
- One student interned with the Women’s Golf US Open
- Other internships include country clubs, summer camps, YMCAs, minor league baseball, etc.
