The Marietta College volleyball team officially opens their 2024 season on Friday, August 30, at the Mount Union Invitational in Alliance, Ohio. The Pioneers kick off tournament play with a 6:00 p.m. match against Manchester at Timken Gymnasium.
Coming off a 15-12 finish and second-place showing in the Ohio Athletic Conference last year, Marietta enters the new season with high expectations. The Pioneers return several key starters and look primed to challenge for the OAC title.
However, they'll get an early test right out of the gates at the Mount Union Invite against a formidable field of opponents from across the region.
