Marietta College is excited to offer a free, public, full-dome showing of “Space Aliens: Looking for Life in the Universe” on Thursday, August 29, at 7:00 p.m. Join our alien “experts” — Hopeful and Skeptical — as they try to convince each other whether or not life exists beyond the Earth. Follow their arguments in astrobiology from the ocean floor to a journey across the galaxy!
The evening will include a live star talk about the current night sky, followed by the full-dome video and a Q&A period. “Space Aliens” was produced by Daniel M. Soref Planetarium of the Milwaukee Public Museum.
Educational experiences in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium are free and open to the public, though we welcome donations to support future programming. Seating is first-come, first-served.
