Marietta College is excited to offer a free, public showing of "Audio Universe: Tour of the Solar System" at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, August 31, in the Anderson Hancock Planetarium. “Audio Universe” is a planetarium show, but the soundtrack takes the lead role, unlike traditional shows.
All of the objects in space are represented with rich sounds as well as incredible visuals. The audience can hear the stars appear, and the planets orbit around their heads. “Audio Universe: Tour of the Solar System” is an immersive experience that can be enjoyed irrespective of the level of vision.
Each public show includes a live presentation about the current night sky, followed by a full-dome planetarium video and a Q&A period. Please note that all public shows are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
