The Marietta College football team plays its home opener on Saturday, September 28. The Pioneers welcome Capital University to Don Drumm Stadium for an Ohio Athletic Conference showdown. Kickoff is set for 1:30 p.m.
Coach Andy Waddle's squad has a great opportunity to pick up a conference win against the Comets, whom they defeated 45-14 last season.
Marietta has dominated the recent series against Capital, winning seven straight games dating back to 2016. However, the Pioneers know they can't take any opponent lightly, especially in league play.
