Marietta College will honor the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a series of campus events. January 18 will include a celebration from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Alma McDonough Auditorium. William Linse ’26 and Briana Williams ’27 will welcome attendees. Presentations will be given by Marietta College students who participated in the Fall Break Experience Trip to Montgomery, Alabama on Exploring Black Slavery: 1619 through Today. The event will include musical performances by Karen Walker. The keynote speaker will be Lynda Lowery, a Civil Rights activist.
