
Naples, Florida will be the first stop for the President’s Pioneer Tour, when alumni will have the opportunity to meet Marietta’s Interim President, Kathleen Poorman Dougherty, Ph.D.
For her spring round of visits, Dr. Dougherty will meet with alumni in Naples, Columbus, Marietta, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Atlanta, Georgia.
The Naples visit is being hosted on April 3 at the Bahama Breeze restaurant by Steve ’66 and Jean Anderson Jory ’68 and Glenn Mello ’74. The Columbus event will take place on April 9 at The Little Grand Market and is hosted by Mark Fazzina ’83 and Jim Baich ’87. The Marietta event will be hosted at The President’s House on April 24. Danielle Cisler ’02 will host the Cleveland event on April 30 at Fat Head’s Brewery. On May 29, Mick ’69 and Cheryl Hillman will host the President and alumni at the Kenwood Country Club in Cincinnati. The final event will take place at the Ansley Golf Club in Atlanta Georgia on June 5 and will be hosted by Creel McCormack ’71.
During the President’s Pioneer Tour, President Dougherty is focused on building connections with alumni and sharing the College’s plans for the future. These gatherings offer alumni the chance to hear directly from her about the College’s direction.
