Marietta College’s Planetary Science major is ideal for students interested in careers with NASA or other space exploration agencies or who are curious about the origins and evolution of our solar systems and its planets, life, and all other matter.

Whether your major is science-based or not science-based, the Energy Systems Studies minor will expand your knowledge of all sources of energy so you can understand the energy industry, its impact on the environment and the social and economic aspects it has at the global level.

In this five-year, 3+2 dual degree program, students spend the first three years of their undergraduate education at Marietta College pursuing a bachelor of science in an area of liberal arts within the realm of science or mathematics. Students then transition to one of our partner institutions to earn their engineering degree.
