Join Marietta College Alumni for a Magical Christmas Experience at Old Sturbridge Village!

Date: Saturday, December 14, 2024 Time: 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM Location: Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, MA Cost: $25 per person (adults), $16 per child

Experience the magic of Christmas as it was in the 1840s! Marietta College alumni, friends, and families are invited to join us for a special holiday gathering at Old Sturbridge Village. This beloved New England tradition offers a unique opportunity to step back in time and immerse yourself in the sights, sounds, and traditions of an old-fashioned Christmas.

Event Highlights

Stunning Illuminations – Wander through the beautifully lit village streets as they glow with festive charm.

Costumed Interpreters – Meet historical interpreters who will share fascinating insights into New England Christmas traditions.

Carolers & Live Music – Enjoy the sounds of the season with carolers, live music, and holiday cheer. 

Bonfires & Festive Food – Gather by the warmth of bonfires while enjoying delicious holiday treats and refreshments.

Don Buckwell ’84 (Marietta College Alumni Association Council Member) and Paul ’69 and Kimberly Adams will graciously welcome our Marietta College group. Kimberly is the Coordinator of Volunteers and will provide a special welcome orientation to the evening's festivities.

Registration & Payment Details

We’ll be meeting at 4:00 PM to enter as a group. Pre-registration is required. Please register by Wednesday, December 11th to secure your spot. Space is limited!
