Airport Transportation Procedures

The Office of International Programs will provide transportation to and from Columbus (CMH) Airport when you travel on the designated dates. Because of our large numbers of students, we ask you make reservations no earlier than 8 a.m. for departure and no later than 10 p.m. for pickup. Signup sheets are in Thomas 214.

If your flight comes in later than this time, you may be expected to stay overnight in a nearby hotel and arrange to be picked up the following day.

Airport Dates

Fall 2008

Pick up at Columbus Airport
(Bus departs for Marietta, OH at 10:30 p.m.)
Thursday, August 14 (new students only)
Saturday, August 23 (returning students)
Sunday, August 24 (returning students)

Winter 2008

Drop off at Columbus Airport
(Bus departs for Columbus, OH, from Hermann Fine Arts Center at 4 a.m.)
Thursday, December 11
Saturday, December 13

If you are unable to travel on these dates, you will have to find an alternate way to or from the airport including:

Asking a friend
Traveling by bus
Paying Campus Police to take you. (This must be arranged at least 7 days in advance, it is advisable to arrange a ride as soon as possible, since this service is open to all Marietta College students)
